The ancient symbol of the spiral represents the flow of our lives and the cycle of nature. It points us inward while maintaining a fullness and richness in its deep movement. The flow of silver in my designs represents the inevitable dance our lives take on in our day-to-day activities. It reminds us of our higher, more creative connection.
My love for dance and flowing forms began long before I can even remember. Music and dance has been my main meditation all of my life. Within this meditation, I learned to incorporate visual art during my Fine Art studies at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Using raw materials, I hand-hammer and sculpt the silver to create my designs.
In 2008, I moved to Port Townsend, Washington, a thriving seaside artist community and home to many galleries and art festivals. My jewelry is featured at the Gallery by the Bay located in the downtown area.
Come by see us when you visit Port Townsend!
. . .You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you,
but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this art.
